Honda Test in Kumamoto Electric Vehicles

Kumamoto (dp) - Honda Motor Co., Ltd.. today, Friday (24/12), announced a cooperation plan with the Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, as a regional pilot project Electric Vehicle Testing Program for the latest generation of personal mobility products, including electric vehicle (EV), plug-in hybrid vehicles, electric scooters, and other electrical devices made by Honda.

To run the test program the vehicles were the Honda also has built a solar energy charging stations around the area of the Honda factory in Kumamoto.

According to Honda, the test will focus on the application of motorcycles, cars, and products based on advanced automotive power-electro. That way, the Honda hopes, the needs of the community movement with environmentally friendly vehicles can be realized more quickly.

Honda cooperation with Kumamoto Prefecture, is a follow-up of the agreement both parties signed on August 5, 2010. According to the agreement, Electric Vehicle Testing Program for Kumamoto will last until March 2013.
