Due to Production Equipment Damaged, Honda Accord & Pilot Recall

car manufacturer, Honda, reportedly has found a problem on as many as 10,800 Accord and Pilot models made in late 2010 to model 2011.

According to Honda, recall the program must be done because there is a problem in the suspension system of the Accord and Pilot.

Honda further said that this problem comes from the assembly line, where the machine used to tighten the front axle nut, and bolt the silencer bracket for the Pilot does not work properly.

Quite interesting, because it is usually caused by errors of recall mechanism of action of a component or material mistake in a car. But this time the fault lies in the tool bolt fasteners.

At the assembly plant in Alabama, the engineers have found an error in the software to operate the machine bolt fasteners.

Actually until now has not been reported related accidents tersebbut problem. But as a precaution, Honda will call back the Accord and Pilot owner to do repairs on his car.

Owners will receive notices from the end of this week. At Accord, Honda will replace the spindle nuts component, while the Pilots will be turnover on the same components plus a front bracket bolt reducer.
