Jakarta - A limitation of fuel subsidies will have a big enough on cars worth USD 100-150 million. That means cars like the Avanza and Xenia was the one who will be most affected by the policies of these governments.
"Because this market is the biggest. Avanza-Xenia only control 33 percent of Indonesia's automotive market," said President Director of PT Mazda Motor Indonesia Yoshiya Horigome in the year-end gathering at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/21/2010).
Horigome further said that another class of car owners are unlikely to be affected against government policies that will do it. Because besides having relatively better economic level, the specification cars are now qualified to breathe Pertamax as fuel.
Earlier, President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor, said Johnny Darmawan Avanza users will get a very big impact on government policy. Because the majority of users still using subsidized fuel Avanza.
"Almost 70 percent of the fuel subsidy is Avanza. But we believe the change of mindset had become more frugal wasteful," said Johnny Darmawan some time ago in Jakarta.
As is known, the House of Representatives has approved a plan subsidized fuel restrictions began late March 2011 for the Greater Jakarta. The plan followed on July 1, 2011 for Java and Bali, 2012 to Sumatra and Kalimantan and throughout Indonesia in 2013.
With this restriction all black plate car owners are no longer allowed to buy Premium. While the yellow plate cars and motorcycles are still allowed to consume Premium.
